Balabushka

The Balabushka Cue Company is pleased to present the new Special Limited Edition (SLE) cue.  There are only 100 hand-numbered cues produced.  This cue has a never-before-used design and is one of the the most intricate Balabushka cue-design ever made.  They are sold with two shafts and custom joint protectors and comes in a velvet sleeve with a certificate of authenticity.

**This cue features 224 inlays**

Forearm:
Features Birdseye Maple with George Balabushka’s signature and is hand-numbered.  The orange and green veneers were reversed to bring out the orange veneers in the  vertical ring work.

Rosewood points instead of Ebony for a richer visual effect from additional natural wood grains, surrounded by eight splice-point colored veneers.  Inside the Rosewood points (four sets) Mother-of-Pearl notched diamond surrounded by three Mother-of-Pearl dots.

Each ring section (3 total) contains 52 veneers.

Butt Sleeve

Rosewood was used as well for enhanced wood grain with four dual-notched, Mother-of-Pearl diamond chevron design with Mother-of-Pearl dots surrounded by two additional 52 veneer rings and a white butt cap to further enhance the authenticity of George’s original design.

Known as the highest quality cue, Balabushka cues represent the pinnacle of prestige in the world of pool cues and billiards. Original Balabushka cues are extremely rare and can only be found through collectors and auctions. Typically, an original Balabushka cue will sell in the tens of thousands of dollars.

George Balabushka died in 1975, but the cues continue to live on. Balabushka cues were re-introduced in the 1980′s with the permission and license by the family of the late George Balabushka. These Balabushka replicas continue to be in high demand by players and collectors alike.
